Asparagus with bacon and cheese

Yummy-yummy and colorful, and exotic, and romantic, and ... - I don't have enough words to describe this appetizer. Ok, may be only one more word - just try... oops! there are two words...:-)

Ingredients
1½ pounds white or green asparagus spears, trimmed 4 to 5 inches long tips
12bacon strips
1/2 cupshredded Parmesan

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 
Take two or three asparagus spears and wrap them in a slice of bacon, leaving tip and end exposed. 
Repeat with remaining ingredients.


 


Place spears on lightly coated in olive oil baking pan, put cheese on a top and bake 20 minutes.





 

Finish it under the broiler
